PRINT DESIGN

Designing for print is about creating something lasting. My process starts with understanding the story the piece needs to tell, then translating it into form, color, and texture. I collaborate closely through each stage—concept, layout, proofing—to make sure the design not only communicates clearly but feels tangible and timeless.

Viewbooks

I designed printed viewbooks for the College of Education and Human Services to showcase programs, faculty and student success to both support recruitment and donor relation goals. The projects began with research and strategy, defining messaging hierarchy and a visual approach that reflected the college’s mission and personality. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, I refined the design through feedback rounds and delivered print-ready files.

Event Booklets

For the WVU Center of Democracy and Citizenship Education, I designed event program booklets with the goal of educating, honoring history and guiding attendees through the experience. Each project began with understanding the audience, tone and cultural significance of the subject matter, so the design would support both storytelling and event flow. Through close collaboration with stakeholders, the booklets were refined to ensure accuracy and a professional presentation that enhanced the events and deepened audience engagement.

Brochures & Handouts

To support recruitment and donor relations, I created brochures and handouts to increase outreach and engagement. Strong visual hierarchy, concise messaging and professional design ensured clarity and credibility, while close collaboration with stakeholders helped refine materials that supported recruitment efforts and strengthened donor connections.
